Your perfect rainy-day tea

Recently, I suddenly had a thing/an itch/an urge to start drinking tea just for the heck of it–and why not? The weather is perfect for drinking hot stuff.

So, I took a quick stop in the nearest grocery and grabbed myself a box of fruit tea. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I spotted this locally made tea brand called Gold Leaf–and flavor of choice is always strawberry. For Php 80++ a box of 25 bags, this is quite reasonable to feed my petty leisure.

I prepared myself a glass of hot fruit tea the next morning and I was satisfied. ๐Ÿ™‚

I love the flavor. In fact, the strength of the flavor is just right. Surprisingly, though it is a local brand, the tea is not bland. I think I had two and a half glasses of tea by just using one bag. But of course, Starbuck’s Tazo brand wins my heart. Gold Leaf lacks the luscious fruity aroma that Tazo has when you prepare your tea. If only I’m not on cheap mode these days, I would’ve gotten myself a box of Tazo.

Nevertheless, for the price and quality, this is fabulously fine to ease those tea party urges.
