Why not create your own Dry Shampoo?

I really love baking soda. I think it’s the most versatile household thing. I used to buy a big box of Arm & Hammer baking soda to scrub my body. I love that it sucks out stinky smell just like charcoal.

Anyway, for this post, you can learn another way of using baking soda: DIY Dry Shampoo.

Dry shampoo has been making the scene lately. Who can blame us? Girls normally take a minimum of an hour to prep up. But in days where we should just get out of bed and go, here’s a helpful tip from Beautiful Basics:

After grinding the oatmeal into a fine powder, combine all three ingredients and ground the mixture again just to ensure everything was mixed and fine enough. Then pour the powder into an old salt shaker (but you can use whatever you have handy. I think a powdered sugar sifter would be even better!).

When your hair needs a little freshening up you can just sprinkle some of the powder onto your roots, massage into scalp, let sit for a minute or two, and then brush out.
