People often ask me how I seem to have it all figu

People often ask me how I seem to have it all figured out--how did I come to where I am now?

I always remind my students not to stress about it and that everything's a journey. I take everything a day at a time and take things in stride.

I do everything intuitively. With intuition, you just “know” something. It doesn’t need even have to make sense. It doesn’t need a logical explanation. It’s just a confidence that you feel, backed by the wisdom of the universe.

I don't think I've already "figured it out." But I try to embrace the moment and feel content in whatever point of life I am right now. It's a continous process of learning and unlearning. A journey of knowing and appreciating.

So wherever you are in life right now, embrace it. Appreciate it. We have a lifetime of learning and unlearning. And, in that process, you'll discover more about yourself and let your inner voice shine through. 🗣️

My Yuzu Chamomile Brightening Eye Cream 👁️👁️

Another productive Sunday working on my botanical beauty formulations. 😁

I got so inspired by Saturday Skin's Yuzu Bright Eye Cream that I decided to make my own. I wanted a rich-textured eye cream that feels really luxurious to touch but should still be light enough for our tropical Philippine weather.

Formulated to lessen the appearance of dark under eye circles, I used exclusively plant-based ingredients that are anti-inflammatory, promotes circulation, and are skin regenerative to keep our eye area looking fresh and youthful. I also used ingredients that are known to help boost collagen and elastin production, to prevent the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. 👀👀👀

As usual, no artificial color and artificial fragrance was used all throughout. 100% paraben-free, silicone-free, and vegan-friendly. 💚🌱

I am rereading this book 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐠: 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐴𝑟𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝐶ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝐻𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔. It's a good book if you're looking to apply some basic Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles in your life.

In the book, it is mentioned how Sencha Green Tea is loved by the Chinese, especially during summer season. Green tea is rich in vitamins, minerals, and an anti-anxiety amino acid called L-Theanine. It's a great year-round tea, especially for those individuals who has a tendency to feel hot--that's 𝕞𝕖! (p. 141) Other benefits of green tea includes a boost on brain function, helps control blood sugar, helps with fat digestion and boosts metabolism. (p. 57) Get your tea fix from @honesttraders.ph

I haven't taken my big boy out for a walk in a while as I've been preoccupied with the demands of life. It's been a roller coaster ride since May and it's so easy to get caught up in the chaos of everyday but I'm just glad that in the few mornings I get to spend time with this angel, I get reminded to take a breather and appreciate the simplest pleasures in life. 🏵️🌷🌹💐

🧘🏻‍♀️ Garland Pose (Malansana) is yoga's deep squat. It opens your hips and groin in counterbalance to the tightness you can develop from sitting too much.

Malasana stretches the inner groin and hips, strengthens the hip flexors, lower back, knees and ankles. It is a very good pose for keeping the knees and ankles flexible and strong at the same time. It encourages strengthening of the pelvic floor, increases circulation to the abdominal organs, aids digestion and eases constipation. As with backbends and twists it stimulates a healthy gut which has a strong link to our moods and emotional well-being. Malasana improves balance, concentration, and focus.
