Product Review: La Tentation de Nina Perfume

When I heard that this was inspired by a unique macaron flavour from Ladurée, I knew Nina Ricci’s La Tentation de Nina wouldn’t be anything but the scent of perfection.

La Tentation de Nina is a fresh, floral, fruity Eau de Toilette, which is utterly addictive. It is the new creation of Olivier Cresp, Master Perfumer and creator of Nina’s saga. In an awakening of the senses, a macaron accord has been married to the distinctly singular signature of Nina. Firstly, Italian bergamot envelops its citrus facets, before a zest of grapefruit rounds off this incitement to desire. Then raspberries, almonds, lemons and Bulgarian rose absolute join together in a surprising macaron accord. Finally, Bourbon vanilla, white musk and sandalwood round off its sensual headiness.

The gold and pink combination of this apple-shaped bottle perfectly fits the delicate hand of a princess who is about to dive into her mysterious world of fantasy. Inspired by the insatiable scent of a raspberry macaron, La Tentation de Nina enchantingly engulfs you into a world of sweetness and temptation.

With a dash of different scents harmoniously blended together, I clearly remember how the whiff of pink grapefruit struck my olfactory senses first. There is something about these citrus-y aroma that I can not get enough of. Although when I asked around, some said it was vanilla that they smelled first and others had the impression of lychees or other sweet fruits.

I have been wearing this perfume for a week now, and simply put, La Tentation de Nina is a deliciously sweet scent with a zesty touch of citrus. To me, one spritz of this perfume is never enough as the smell is so delicious, you would want to have that delicious feeling all over.

And just as much as I love La Tentation de Nina, my baby Pepper feels the same way too.

Definitely Pepper-approved!

La Tentation de Nina comes in 80ml EDP (Php5,050.00) and 50ml EDP (Php3,900.00). La Tentation de Nina is available in select department stores.

Is it like the chanel no.5 that reacts/ develops differently per person, like a personalized fragrance? I saw this blog post http://sabshernandez.blogspot.com/2014/07/chanel-no5-eau-de-parfum-do-you-dare.html thanks!! really curious about this perfume!

Hi Kim! I think all perfumes react differently per person as it mixes with your natural oil/smell to give off a unique scent. Ergo, a perfume that may smell good on your sister might not smell the same on you. People respond to perfumes differently. I guess this is also the reason why my nose captured a different scent compared to those who smelled lychees or vanilla first.
