Max’s Restaurant Releases Two New Heirloom Recipes

Max’s, our favorite sarap-to-the-bones resto, has been creating a lot of bang this year, as part of their 65th Anniversary celebration. After their successful Chicken-All-You-Can promo last month, Max’s Restaurant continues to wow us by releasing two new dishes: Chicken Caldereta and Pork  Binagoongan.

Luckily, for bloggers like me, we were able to get first dibs on these two new dishes during Max’s Thanksgiving Party last night at Max’s Restaurant Glorietta 3. (Thank you, Max’s Marketing/PR team! :))

Aside from treating us with Chicken-All-You-Can for the night, not to mention the entertaining dance number by their staff, I was able to devour Max’s latest offering–which perfectly complemented their golden-crisp chicken.

I personally loved their Pork Binagoongan. The tender pork cubes blended well with the shrimp paste (bagoong), topped with a dash of julienned green mango–I absolutely loved its salty tangy taste! In fact, it’s so good that if you make it as your rice-topping, you’re good to go.

Since I am not a fan of tomato sauce–and anything made from tomatoes–I wasn’t able to appreciate Chicken Caldereta that much. Though I noticed that the other bloggers were raving about it. So I think it would be best if you can swing by any Max’s branch and try these out for yourselves.

And when I say try it out, better try it out soon! Starting August 16 until September 15, 2010, dine-in customers get to enjoy FREE rice serving and Pepsi softdrink when you order any of these two new exquisite dishes.

Again, I would like to thank Max’s PR and Marketing team for inviting Couchwasabi. It was truly awesome to be there and be part of the company’s first-ever Blogger’s Night. 🙂

  1. Nice meeting you at the Max’s event! I also posted about it on our food blog (http://www.certifiedfoodies.com) and if you want to see the list of attendees, I posted it on my personal blog:

We also enjoyed the Pork Binagoongan more than the Chicken Caldereta. I guess we’re more used to beef caldereta. 🙂
