Look of the Day: Japonesque

The Japanese has been known for their minimalist designs. Today, I try to emulate the Japanese feel with subtle shimmers to soften the look–using Girlactik’s Eye Glaze.

Brows: Ottie Natural Drawing Auto Eye Brow Pencil from Orangebox

Eyes: CoverGirl Olay Simply Ageless Corrector; Girlactik Beauty Eye Glaze in Love; K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Eyeliner

Face: Motives Blush in Lust; Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux in Peach

Lips: AVON Ultra Color Lipstick in Berry Bright

See the subtle glitter on my lids?

Girlactik’s Eye Glaze creates a high pearl finish that is velvety and easily blendable. It’s a little bit tricky to apply since it dries in 1-2minutes–so you have to be really quick. But once it dries up, it lasts the whole day without creasing.

I love that you don’t have to use an eye primer before using Girlactik’s Eye Glaze since the product stays there until you wash it off with soap and water. It’s waterproof and sweatproof–you can even swim with it!

I usually put a little amount of product on the center of my lids, then spread it across, and up to the brow bone for a diffused glow on my peepers. If you want to concentrate the Eye Glaze on a certain part–like using it as a glittered eyeliner–I suggest you use a slanted eyeliner brush to apply the product on your lashline and wait for the product to dry fully before opening up your eyes.

How about you? Have you tried Girlactik’s Eye Glaze?
