Kathryn Bernardo for Air Optix and Julia Montes for FreshLook

In case you haven’t heard, Kathryn and Julia are the latest ambassadors for Alcon’s Air Optix and FreshLook, respectively.

I have been wearing FreshLook contact lenses since college. But I wore them out of necessity–I have myopia or nearsightedness at 4.25 (L) and 4.75 (R) each eye. And when Korean lenses became a fad a couple of years back, I never tried them because I know the dangers of using non-FDA approved lenses on your eyes.

Anyway, since I have already been using FreshLook for years, I was really excited to try Air Optix. I have recently been using my Air Optix in Subtle Green and I’m really loving the comfortable wear.

Air Optix is made up of a proprietary silicone hydrogel material which allows more oxygen to pass through the contact lenses, making it more appropriate for long-hour wear. Both FreshLook and Air Optix are US FDA approved.

Here are the available colors for Air Optix and FreshLook:

AIR OPTIX® COLORS and FreshLook® Color Contact Lenses are designed to enhance dark or light eyes and bring out one’s natural beauty.  They are made with a unique, smooth surface and feature a technology that combines 3 colors -in -1 to blend naturally with the color of your eye.  With this, I normally gravitate towards green and purple lenses. Now I’m trying Gray as well. 🙂 How about you? Have you previously tried wearing colored lenses? What colors do you enjoy wearing?

FreshLook® and AIR OPTIX® COLORS are available per pair in all leading optical clinics at Php1,195.00 and Php1,495.00, respectively. To get to know more about the brands, follow FreshLook Color Contact Lenses on Facebook & Instagram. Also check out Air Optix Colors on Facebook & Instagram <3

I use contact lenses imported from Korea but I do not wear them longer than 4 hours. I’m planning to alternate glasses and contact lenses because my glasses are giving me blackheads on my nose area. Was looking for a more reliable brand. How long can you use this? Thanks!
