Nothing beats a good old pampering of your footsies once in a while. With our daily shopping marathon, and the harsh dry air, no wonder our feet can get a bit rough around the edges–literally.
This is tricky though, since you need to find the spa service that is well-trained to know when to stop the scrubbing or you’ll end up having red and throbbing feet instead of smooth ones. Aside from finding an A-list service, you also have to think of the budget. I mean, if you’re going to do it regularly, you need to make sure that you don’t break your piggy bank in two-month’s time.
Here comes La Vie Hand, Foot, and Nail Spa right along Timog Ave. Always excited to try out spa services, I got their Bloom in Spring service, which is basically a full foot treatment of foot bath, bubble soak, callus treatment, foot scrub and foot/leg massage. The treatment lasts for an hour and for only Php 450.00
I must say, I really enjoyed every minute of my foot treatment. Believe me, it’s the most relaxing 60-minute of your foot’s existence! The massage is very invigorating and the ambiance of La Vie is superb. The spa ladies are courteous and they make sure that the massage pressure meets your preference–I love it!
Aside from the classic mani-pedi, La Vie has services like foot detox, hair waxing, and nail paraffin treatments. They also have treatments for kids and men. In fact, when I was having my treatment done, a 7-ish kid is sitting nearby having her foot pampered with her mom.
The owner of La Vie is a very nice and soft spoken Chinese lady (which I forgot to get the name). I’m guessing she’s in her late-twenties. Anyway, visit La Vie at 2/F Shoppes @ Victoria, Timog Ave. cor. Panay Ave., Quezon City (building with Robinson’s Supermarket and Starbucks). For inquiries and appointments, please call: 332-1680 or (0922) 855-2843
