Goji berry/wolfberry drink for a bunch of anti-oxidants

For two days now, I have been drinking these goji berries every after dinner. I ordered 1 kilo of these wonder berries, which has been said to boost immune system and overall health well-being. Goji berries have long been known by the Eastern culture, that has only been recently appreciated by the Western culture.

I used to love eating this with black chicken soup… and we call it kam-ki. My grandma would always tell me this is good for the eyes. And since I have poor eyesight, I get to eat more of these among my sibs. ๐Ÿ˜€

Anyway, I ordered a kilo for Php200 per 250g. What I do is, I put a handful of berries in a glass of water and let is soak for 15minutes or more… then when I’m ready to drink it, I drink the water and eat the plumped up Goji berries. The berry tastes a bit sweet even when soaked in water. When eated dried, it’s much like eating raisins.

I noticed I have been sleeping well for the past 2 days I have been drinking a glass of Goji Berry soaked water. Maybe it’s psychological, I really can’t say… but, I believe in all the anti-oxidating properties it has. What’s good for you makes you feel good. ๐Ÿ˜‰
