Circles: Makati Shangri-La Buffet

I usually post buffet promos here and when I do, I find it irresistible not to avail of the promo. So one boring workday, I gave my friends a ring and we decided to hop to Makati Shang for a nice little buffet.

As my personal rule of thumb, in buffets, one strategy you could do is skip the rice and try a little of everything–just so you get to taste every dish. And when a particular dish tickles your fancy, you can just go back for more AFTER you have tried everything so as to maximize what you are paying for. And I did just that.

But somewhere along the way, I was stuffed even before I finished trying everything out. And since I am a sucker for desserts–I just had to save some space for desserts!–the main dish, salad bar, and soup corner came in as a blur. Even without finishing my tasting phase, I zero-ed in on the desserts section, skipping the steak, lamb, and other meat dish.

I devoured myself with lots of sweets. They had fresh fruits, custards, and a choco fountain bar. I felt that the 30% of my tummy was saved exclusively for desserts. Truly, I can say our buffet was worth it. My friends and I walked out of Circles stuffed and happy.

Buffet costs about Php1,2xx.xx net per head (this was a promo rate).
