I recently purchased this inexpensive Cerro Qreen brush set for only Php338.00–I know most girls have bought this set in bazaars for Php400.00. I got it on sale! Ha!
Anyway, I like that these brushes don’t shed–except for the white blush brush. And they don’t bleed. For the price, I think it’s a steal. The eye brushes are really good. But I find the handle too small.
I didn’t like the blush brush though. First, it smells funky maybe because of it being a natural haired brush. I was never a fan of natural hair for face brushes. I prefer synthetic for my face and natural hair for my eye brushes. Second, the blush brush shed like 5-6 stands when washing–to which, I hope it won’t shed some more with my use over time. Third, the bristles are too rough. Being pony hair–or something–I really don’t like its feel on my face. It’s like scrubbing my skin as I apply blush on. I still like my Marionnaud blush brush very much.
So, overall, for Php338.00, I’m okay with the 6 brushes with one I’d love to toss in the bin. 4.5 out of 5 for Cerro Qreen 7-pc. brush set. 😉
