Casual Dining at Poco Deli

This is a long overdue post–like 2 months long. Haha! I wanted to write about Poco Deli since I loved the food when I had my annual get-together with my college besties over Christmas. However, as usual, I have forgotten to take a decent photo of the restaurant because of the bad low-light camera setting of iPhone. So, anyways…

I was able to dine at their Ayala Triangle branch recently, so I didn’t let the chance slip away this time. Haha!

This Assorted plate of German Salami, sliced Pepper Stick, Wagyu Corned Beef, and Chorizo Iberico (Php340.00) is a perfect appetizer to set the mood after a long time of not seeing each other.

My favorite, and also one of their best-seller, is Poco Deli’s Truffle Oil Pasta (Php380.00). It’s a simple carbonara recipe smothered with truffle oil to bring out that sophisticated taste in an ordinary pasta.

Another one of my favourites is their German sausage and cheese platter–Choice of 3 sausages: Kielbasa, Nuemberger, Bratwurst, Cheese Krainer, Chicken Sausage, Bockwurst, or Frankfurter. Served with homemade sauerkraut and toasted bagel chips.

Here’s the double platter (Single Php400.00/Double Php650.00).

I’m not a fan of sausages but I when I eat them, that means they’re extraordinarily delicious. Hope this is one of the extraordinary. 🙂
